In this software, the positioning can be done with high precision by Auto Alignment ability and without the intervention of the operator. In this industries, details and sharp lines in the scan file are very important features and should not be deleted or softened. Because softening of the edges will reduce the quality of the final product.<\/p>\n
For example, the lack of accuracy for the blade of a pump, a turbine or a compressor, leads to an error that will decrease the efficiency and performance of the part compared with the original one. To edit point cloud, the operator can import the scanner software output into the Geomagic software space. Due to the type of the used mesh by the scanner software, the output file has less error. So, with the professional editing done in Geomagic Studio, the operator can import the point cloud to the Catia software environment or generate the G-code for the CNC machines.<\/p>\n
